Alaska
Liz and I arrived in Anchorage last night. We are having a blast! Drove to Seward today.... what a beautiful drive. As soon as we arrived it started pouring. It has let up a bit. We are staying at an awesome B and B here and are hoping to see a few bears that pass by here daily. Tomorrow maybe go for a hike or look for some sea otters..... we will see what the day brings.

My Best Friend...
Me and my wonderful husband Whit. He is the best! I feel so blessed to have him in my life. Whit is probably the most giving person I have ever met. I know that many of you have met him and feel the same about how loving and giving he is.
I am so honored that he is my husband and my best friend.
I will miss you sweetie this week while I am away...
I love you enormously squared!

NIGHT ON THE TOWN
The Port Townsend Film Festival is taking place this weekend. The students, Whit and I all went walking around downtown to partake in the event. We had a great time! The outdoor movie was The Princess Bride and had a packed audience. Our fountain was all decorated to its fullest!
Been having a fantastic time with the students. Today we will be making pmc and regular silver bead caps and coring the beads made during class! I will be sure to get some photos of their finished pieces.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend....

TOTEM CLASS!
This is a totem that Jennifer Geldard and I did a few years ago. We have decided to have a few classes on making totems! The first few will me in March here in Port Townsend in my studio. If you are interested just let one of us know or comment here. The first class is already full.
It's a beautiful day here today. Day 2 of my 3 day Masters Class. I will get some photos this weekend of the students and their beads.
Last night Whit and I were on our way to my Dads for dinner and the sky just stopped us in our tracks..... it looked like feathers in the sky.... just wanted to share the beauty in my photo of the day.

Happy Autumn!
It's official. The first day of Fall. This is by far my favorite time of the year. I leave for Alaska in less than a week with a good friend of mine. We are hoping that the weather there will hold on just a little bit longer for us to get in some great hikes and photograph the beauty there. Maybe even get lucky enough to see a bear or moose.... you just never know!
Enjoy the day......

Sneak Peek....
Just a sneak peek at part of the studio. The de-cluttering is coming along quite nicely. I am hoping to be totally done by tomorrow.... just a little bit more to go in my silver area and then done! It will be ready just in time to fill a few orders before my Masters Class this weekend.
Soon I will be working on a new teaching schedule for next year that will include some one and two day workshops just in silver as well as some more glass classes! If there is something any of you have been wanting to learn or have any suggestions I would love to hear them.
Have a great night!
Also if any of you want to participate and be added to the links on the right under photo of the day just let me know!

Photo of the day - Web
First thing this morning I went outside to capture one of the many magical spider webs that appear over night. Now if only I could find some peace and be friends with them and not so scared of them! I will have to work on that!
Today is my birthday and have had just a fantastic day! Lots of friends stopping over... My great friend Liz made me a beautiful chocolate cake... lots of phone calls from friends and family... great dinner with Whit, my Dad and Sally...
Life is very good... looking forward to many more wonderful years to come!
