Sampling of some new beads on Etsy
Well today the sun came out for a bit.... but it was still cold! I took my vespa out for a quick ride and froze!!!!
So I decided to come inside and photograph some new beads and get them listed on Etsy....
So they are HERE IN MY ETSY STORE!
Well tomorrow I am off to the Apple store with Lois to help her pick out a new laptop..... I wonder what I will come home with..... there is always something new there that I want!

New Bead Caps
Here are some photos of my latest bead caps. I feel that I have finally really figured this process out. I have been using my rolling mill and some home made stamps that I made to add the texture to them.
I have added them to MY ETSY STORE
Anna was over today and helped me with names for the textures....
this one is elephant
cross hatch
leather
dots
and squiggles.
I have also added some new beads today as well as some finished bead stix....

Snow on the beach!
I picked up Carly last night at the airport in Seattle and the snow was really coming down.. as soon as we got to the ferry it stopped. We were hoping for snow the whole way home.....
Well Whit woke me up really early (for me anyways) so of course I had to go and wake up Carly! We got up and ventured to FortWorden, it is rare to see snow on the beaches here.. seems like it is always at around the 500' level. I thought I would share a few photos of our day.....
Very proud eagle.....

View of the light house .....
view out our window this morning......
And I will leave you with this bird track.........
Needless to say Carly and I are wishing for more snow tonight.... if it does we will venture out again!

Studio update....
So this is what I have been up to for the last week. I have been rearranging my silversmithing area of my studio. It i so nice to have a table that I can comfortably stand at to work. What a difference it makes. We will be raising all of the silversmithing tables to 37" soon. The photo doesn't show it but we have also put down some foam flooring ....... so nice on your feet!!!
I have been busy making new bead caps hoping to have them in my etsy store by Sunday. I will post some photos of them soon and let you know when I have listed them.
Have a great weekend!
