Today Whit and I drove to Sequim to do some shopping.. This is a photo of a lavender farm on the way there! As you can see they got a lot of snow 2 days ago! We only got a trace at our house. We bought a new computer desk for the studio and saw a great work bench at Costco that we may go back for tomorrow..... it is 8' long and is 37" tall with a great butcher block top and steel frame. Perfect for another silversmithing bench!
I taught a class last weekend and have been playing with some silver this week. We unpacked our rolling mill and have been experimenting with it! Nicole was here visiting early in the week (which explains the snow!) and we had fun playing with silver, copper and cold connections. I hope to have some of my new bead caps to show you very soon, the textures are very nice! I just need to patina and photograph them....... maybe tomorrow!
