Michael Barley beads in Tucson!

Michael Barley came over today with a bag of beads for me to sell in Tucson! They are beautiful..... as alway!

New Color Salmon Egg

This is a 1/4" silver cored and capped salmon egg (just a name I came up with a long, long time ago) made with double helix khaos glass.

Well we may have lost our "Mama" this winter but her offspring are still coming around everyday!

Was too busy making things for Tucson to photograph beads but I have a really nice one I will photograph for tomorrow!!!!

Silver Stuff

These are some silver caps, beads and charms I made last night. I still have to drill holes in the charms and cap the beads tonight! Gonna be a late night.......

Strange Tracks in the Snow......

Well I finally got some snow! If you drive up the hill from here there is a lot more...... living so close to the water kinda limits the snow here for us!

There are these strange tracks in the snow..... can't figure out what made them, they are small and in a straight line....... we have raccoon tracks all over the water side, these are on the driveway.

Shards and Snow

These are some 1/2" hole shard beads that I have cored with silver...

Well as I write this tonight the snow is falling.... I hope to wake up to several inches of snow on the ground! The street and car are already covered....... I hope it sticks around long enough to get some photos with snow on the beach..... we'll see!

Happy Again!

Very happy I got most of my computer back to normal today! They are calling for snow tonight, I sure hope we get lots!!!!!

Sorry no photos today...... My computer hard drive crashed and I just got it replaced tonight and haven't had the time to install my software yet......

Silver Cored and Capped Moth Wing......

Well I was so happy with this one that I made 10 more of them today! Hope that they all turn out as good as this one! Made more caps for them tonight...... been really busy!

Silver Cored and Capped Galaxy

Another sunny day here! Cold but sunny....... I'll take that sun anyway I can get it!
Well here is a 1/4" hole silver cored and handmade pmc capped bead that I put on ebay tonight.

I have been using Jim Moore's bead press just about everyday this week getting ready for the Tucson show. He has a nice video showing how to use this wonderful machine,

Sun and Moon!

May be hard to see it but the moon was coming up right next to Mt. Baker today..... just a beautiful day! So nice in fact that I have hardly made any beads yet. Whit and I went to the park with some friends, couldn't resist taking this photo of my friend Anna! I love her hat!

CHARM-N-BEAD BRACELETS!
The response to the bracelets has been great!
I made more silver core beads to go on them...... of course I never feel like I have made enough!
I think tomorrow will be a PMC day..... bead caps and charms...
gonna give my hand some much needed rest!

Moth Wing.....

First off........ Hi to Theresa!!!! I am so proud of you!

This is one of my moth wing beads with a new twist.... I have been making the moth wing bead for at least 10 years. It is nice to change it up a bit. Hopefully I will have several of these for Tucson...... I have been getting lots of requests for them..... I'll see what I can do.

Tomorrow is off mandrel heart day.... these have been the hardest things for me to make since my surgery..... we'll have to see how many I can get made for Tucson!

Bracelet Today

Really starting to get back in the swing of things since my thumb joint replacement surgery!
Feels great to be making beads again. Had a great day yesterday...... made 40 of these kyrptonite beads yesterday for my bracelets and put silver cores in all of them today!

Eagle and The Lighthouse

And my bead for the day is a sea garden. I am getting ready for the Tucson show that opens Feb. 4. I will be exhibiting at The Whole Bead Show at The Windmill Inn. I will try to post a bead a day till the time gets here to go! We'll see if I can do it!

Sunny Day!

Nice sunny day in Seattle today. This photo was taken from the ferry on my way home from dropping my sister and niece off at the airport........... always sad to see them go.

COLD DAY!!!!!

It was such a cold day today....... felt like is was going to snow any moment! I guess it did a bit in Seattle. Several of my friends are in Hawaii right now and I am just a tad bit jealous!

However these kind of days make for great beadmaking days. I need a lot more of these to get ready for Tucson!
My sister worked on PMC and my friend Larissa came over and she and I made beads.

Fun Day!!!

Christine and Carly are here visiting for the week and we are having a blast! Today we went hiking in the park, later we plan on working with some PMC. Tomorrow is Carly's 16 birthday! Can't believe how time flies........ she is so wonderful. I wish that they both lived closer...... I miss them very much.

Happy New Year!

This morning was great..... the sun was out again, went to the park for my walk and saw all kinds of beauty. I swear there was a raven following me almost the whole time..... I love the sound they make. He left me as I came off of the trail and approached the beach. There was a seagull on the beach enjoying a nice freshly caught crab, he wouldn't let me close enough to get a good photo.

When I got home I had to take a photo of Mt. Baker from the house.
There were also a few bucks enjoying the grape hyacinths. I should of run them off but enjoyed seeing them so I didn't.

Well off to have a great dinner with my family...... Happy New Year
