Eagle and The Lighthouse

The Eagle photo was taken this summer! Wish it was warm like the day I took the photo........

And my bead for the day is a sea garden. I am getting ready for the Tucson show that opens Feb. 4. I will be exhibiting at The Whole Bead Show at The Windmill Inn. I will try to post a bead a day till the time gets here to go! We'll see if I can do it!

Sunny Day!

Nice sunny day in Seattle today. This photo was taken from the ferry on my way home from dropping my sister and niece off at the airport........... always sad to see them go.

And the other photo is my bead for the day..... a mothwing oval.

COLD DAY!!!!!

It was such a cold day today....... felt like is was going to snow any moment! I guess it did a bit in Seattle. Several of my friends are in Hawaii right now and I am just a tad bit jealous!

However these kind of days make for great beadmaking days. I need a lot more of these to get ready for Tucson!
My sister worked on PMC and my friend Larissa came over and she and I made beads.

Fun Day!!!

Christine and Carly are here visiting for the week and we are having a blast! Today we went hiking in the park, later we plan on working with some PMC. Tomorrow is Carly's 16 birthday! Can't believe how time flies........ she is so wonderful. I wish that they both lived closer...... I miss them very much.

Happy New Year!

This morning was great..... the sun was out again, went to the park for my walk and saw all kinds of beauty. I swear there was a raven following me almost the whole time..... I love the sound they make. He left me as I came off of the trail and approached the beach. There was a seagull on the beach enjoying a nice freshly caught crab, he wouldn't let me close enough to get a good photo.

When I got home I had to take a photo of Mt. Baker from the house.
There were also a few bucks enjoying the grape hyacinths. I should of run them off but enjoyed seeing them so I didn't.

Well off to have a great dinner with my family...... Happy New Year

New Year's Eve

What a great way to end the year....... the sun was out today! I went for a nice long walk at my favorite park (Fort Worden). They blazed a great new trail that takes you from the beach up to the top where the bunkers are. The photo of the light house was taken from this new trail!

Well Mama, our raccoon, that we have been feeding for 8 years has gone to raccoon heaven. She usually comes twice a day and we haven't seen here for the last 3 weeks. I will miss her dearly....... but at least her grandchildren and great grandchildren still come around.

Charm-N-Bead Bracelet!

This is our new bracelet that will accept silver cored beads with a 3.8mm hole and larger. You can add charms to your bracelet which also act as stoppers to keep your beads in place. In my sample bracelet above I used my silver cored kryptonite beads, silver Troll beads and Charms by Lois. These are just examples of what could be used, the possibilities are endless!
