We had a wonderful dinner tonight with Dad and Sally... Lamb, my favorite!

My studio is all ready for my wave bangle bracelet class I am teaching tomorrow and Saturday! I am so excited to be teaching this new workshop. Stay tuned for more dates that I will be offering this class.

Worked in my studio today filling orders and making this bracelet for a friend's birthday present...

It seems like this would have been a really simple bracelet to make but for some reason it wasn't!

The rivets are 24kt gold... there are 9 of them.

Looking forward to another creative day tomorrow!!!!!!

Today was the last day of my welding class.... I so enjoy learning new things! 

This piece I made today by using the plasma cutter and the mig welder. It is about 18" tall and probably around 15" wide. It is all welded together and will be hung by chain in my studio.

I'm so thankful that I have a good friend with all of this equipment in his studio and I have access to it anytime I want. Already I am planning on going over there this Sunday to play around some more..... so many ideas brewing!

After class we went out and pulled our crab pots.... We all got our limit, which is 5 crab per license! Needless to say we had friends over and had a crab feast tonight! Nothing better than fresh crab!!!!

Had some time to kill in my welding class so I quickly made this for my sweetie!!!

So many ideas swirling around in my head... I love this stuff!

I have to say that I am also loving this weather! Makes for great vespa rides and beautiful evenings in the hammock WITHOUT BLANKETS!!!! I'm in no hurry for the sun to go away!

These guys were in the tree when I came home from my class today! Had another fun day welding! It could become addictive I think.... I'm looking forward to playing with the plasma cutter some more!

Today was my first day of a welding class! My friend and I decided to take a week long class and will probably sign up for more! It is so much fun. Today we played with a plasma cutter. I'm lucky enough to have access to one of these anytime I want to play. Who knows what I may do next.....

This was my first thing to cut out of 1/4" steel....

Here you can see all of the shapes we were playing with....

I'm looking forward to whatever tomorrow brings!

More fun things coming up very soon. I am more than likely doing The Whole Bead Show in Amherst, MA in September!!! And it looks like I will be heading back to Europe in October.... Italy to be exact! More on that later!

Enjoying the shade on our deck as it reached 80 today! I don't know how you in the rest of the country deal with those high temps! Don't get me wrong, I love these days! I just wouldn't want months of them! And our heat is nothing!!!
